Taylor Swift’s Lyrics Make for an *Amazing* Soap Opera, as Julianne Moore

Called The Bold and the Lyrical, the sketch saw Corden and actress Julianne Moore play a couple having a relationship meltdown.

What happens when you get James Corden, Julianne Moore and John Stamos to act together in a melodramatic soap opera written entirely with the lyrics from Taylor Swift songs?

The skit titled “The Bold and the Lyrical”, gave fans the opportunity to see Moore, 54, declare: “You could have been getting down to this sick beat!” while doing a shimmy in her silk lavender robe. The scene opens when Corden, donning a ridiculous black pompadour wig, saunters home one night with a weak explanation for his whereabouts: “I’ve been cruising”.

“Never mind, I’ll find someone like you”, Moore said.

The ominous track then stops as James corrects her: ‘Oh I think that is Adele.’ Julianne breaks character and chuckles about it as they both agree that it is a good song before continuing on with the gag. “Tonight’s the night we forget about heartbreaks”. After all, Bad Blood does make for a pretty catchy series.

As if Taylor Swift needed to add another notch to her achievement belt, the mega pop sensation can now brag about writing a soap opera.

The sketch ended with all three speaking the lyrics to Swift’s hit “22”.
