England confirm training ground incident between Mike Catt and Danny Cipriani
According to The Guardian, the incident happened just hours after Cipriani had learned of his exclusion from England’s 31-man World Cup squad and the day before the official announcement.

The Rugby Football Union has confirmed that there was a training-ground incident between Danny Cipriani and Mike Catt in August.
“For me, playing for England is still my dream”.
England have described the matter as a “robust conversation” which came about following a “misunderstanding”, and Cipriani also appears keen to move on.
Cipriani wrote in the Sun newspaper that he has “a good working relationship” with Catt after the pair spoke the day after the incident, and Lancaster praised the 27-year-old’s maturity.
England crashed out of the World Cup with a 33-13 defeat to Australia at Twickenham on Saturday, in the process becoming the first host nation to fail to reach the quarter-finals.
“I don’t think there’s a reason to panic and think that the English game is doomed”.
“There was no problem, but the reality is that things like that happen when there are a lot of players in camp”.
England’s performance will be the subject of an internal review by the RFU once Saturday’s final Pool A match against Uruguay has been played.
“To say there’s a bias in selection is absolutely incorrect and completely unfair on the integrity of Andy Farrell, who I hold in the highest regard”, said Lancaster.
“The commitment and drive to put on the white shirt is still there”.
