Girl sneezes up to 12000 times a day: ‘I’m constantly in pain’
A 12-year-old Texas girl started sneezing constantly about a month ago – and she hasn’t stopped since.

Thornley said she sneezes up to 20 times a minute, which adds up to about 12,000 times per day.
“Some kids are making fun of me”, she told INSIDE EDITION.
She said the sneezing has compromised her way of life, forcing her out of school and preventing her from playing her favorite instrument, the clarinet. She can no longer attend school or play in the band.
“I just started in little spurts, I’d just start sneezing”.
The incessant sneezing is now starting to take its toll. “I can barely eat”, Katelyn said.
“Anything you talk to her about that irritates her – you can see it spike”.
Thornley hopes to have a cure soon and be able to look back at the ordeal with a smile and say, “You know, I was on TV once for sneezing”.
The sneezing only stops when Katelyn falls asleep.

The fits only stop when Katelyn, from Angleton, Texas, sleeps – which she manages by taking Benadryl and listening to Beatles music. “Sometimes I wish I could leave my body for a little while so I could watch myself sleep because even in my dreams, I sneeze.”.
