Giggs Would Be Managing United Now If He Retired at 35: Ferguson

Ronaldo scooped the first of his three Ballon d’Or crowns while playing under Ferguson, before winning two more at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Englishman holds no feeling of resentment to his former manager, telling BBC, “I tend to agree with the manager because there are certain players that you can call world-class, and, thankfully, I played with many of them“.

“When my dad was sick in London and was in hospital – very bad, in a coma – I had a conversation with [Ferguson]”, Ronaldo said.

“But I would never ask a player to quit”.

It wasn’t a mistake to appoint David Moyes as manager of Manchester United.

Obviously the former Red Devils boss made this dubious statement in order to big up his own management skills, and thereby sell more copies of his latest book, “Leading”.

David Beckham is convinced Ryan Giggs will be a successful Manchester United manager in the future. My relationship with him was always great, despite the couple of ups and downs, but that’s the passion we have and I have always had respect for Sir Alex that I should have.

“He knew that for nearly a season I want to leave Real Madrid and I want to come to Chelsea”.

Beckham was the part of the famous batch of Manchester United academy products, which included players such as Ryan Giggs, Gary Neville and Phil Neville, that won the FA Youth Cup in 1992.

“The weekend was a tough loss but I think other than that we seem to be kind of slowly gradually getting back to a few excitement as well”, he said.

“That’s absolute nonsense. There was a good process.” said Ferguson.

Mourinho said he was anxious the information would come out. “They’re a professional football club – they know what they’re doing – the Glazers and David Gill”.

“It was unbelievable but it was good – because we learn.” Still, nice to know Louis van Gaal and Ed Woodward weren’t wasting half their time this summer instead of actually reinforcing the squad where it was needed, eh?

Do you think Sir Alex Ferguson is the greatest manager of all time? “I think we did the best under the circumstances we were in”.
