StarCraft 2 Legacy Of The Void Prologue Missions Available For Free

The developer of “StarCraft 2” is looking to end the series with a bang.

Custom games can now be found under the Multiplayer tab, Archon Mode has been made available for Blizzard sanctioned maps, in-game chat now all takes place within a single persistent window, and the Arcade page has been altered to revolve around the “Join” and “Browse” tabs.

If you’ve been waiting to try out the new prologue campaign for StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void, you can do so now at no charge.

Blizzard’s prepping to roll out the final piece of the StarCraft II trilogy next month with Legacy of the Void, but you can get a small taste right now with Whispers of Oblivion. The upcoming game will obviously be dealing more towards the Protoss species and will contain numerous additional units and multiplayer changes from its predecessors. These include the StarCraft Legacy of the Void PC/Mac Game; Exclusive Behind The Scenes DVD & BluRay Two Disc Set; Collector’s Edition Soundtrack; and StarCraft Field Manual. The Field Manual, meanwhile, is a 174-page book that features illustrations, lore, origins and facts about the technology of the three races making up the “StarCraft” universe.

About the CASC format, it was introduced in Heroes of the Storm and Warlords of Draenor as a method of storing content. It should be faster, more error resistant, easier to patch, and easier to extend the functionality of.

As for the pricing, the game’s listings on Best Buy, Amazon and Gamestop indicate the price as $80 which is twice that of the standard version ($40).

StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void Collector’s Edition will be available for retail beginning on November. 10. The epilogue is free for everyone, and it features a short gameplay of the full title.
