Nicki Minaj Slams ‘Disrespectful’ Reporter, ‘Anaconda’ Rapper Shuts Down New York
“Do not speak to me like I’m stupid or beneath you in any way” Minaj declared, before ending the interview on her terms like the boss she is.

Minaj, who is a New York native, is presently dating Meek, and is also a close friend with Drake.
In a new interview with The New York Times, Minaj was asked about what really happened during the MTV Video awards, where she infamously called out Cyrus for talking about her in the tabloids. Minaj, in a tweet, said about how the show only celebrates women with very slim bodies and inconsistently acknowledges the work of black women.
For example, her so-called feud with pop star Taylor Swift earlier this year was actually a comment on the racist and sexist nature of the music industry. Cyrus spoke to the Times a few days before hosting the VMAs and said that Minaj’s accusations were only pushing the rapper’s personal agenda.
The world clutched its pearls that night when Minaj, after accepting an award for Best Hip-Hop Video, threw it back to Miley with a gentle namecheck: “And now… back to this bitch that had a lot to say about me in the press”. And when Drake and Meek had a beef this summer, Nicki appeared quite.
Minaj initially responded to questions about Meek and Drake’s feud by saying, “It’s between them”, and telling the reporter, “You don’t ever want to choose sides between people you love”.
When the reporter, Vanessa Grigoriadis, asked Minaj whether these bickering and beefs that’s been going on around her life was her own way of reflecting that she “thrives on drama”, Minaj went upset. After that, the “Take Care” rapper slaughtered Meek in two diss tracks, continued to poke fun at him on Twitter and clowned him at the OVO Fest in Toronto in August.
He said that at the time he knew “that this guy was a pedophile and he was touching me oddly”, though he didn’t feel victimized by the alleged, unnamed offender because he was “aware of it”.
