Unveiled in China in June this year, Honor has now announced the launch of its Honor 7 for the Indian market. This is paired with 3GB of RAM and the phone comes in 16GB and 64GB storage variants.

The Honor 7 will be available in two colours, Mystery Gray and Fantasy Silver at the retail price of Rs 22, 999. This phone has unibody metallic design. However, despite the tough-looking aluminum back, the glass fronted 5.2in Full HD screen feels somewhat exposed. It gives this phone an elegant look and avoids slipperiness. Then the phone made its debut in Europe earlier this summer, at the price of €350, and now it’s all ready to make its way to the most competitive market – India. The volume rocker and power button are on the right. You might think all this is too much and would easily cost you a hefty amount because why not. Huawei offers a microSD card support up to 128 GB to the handset. A microUSB port surrounded by speaker grilles on either side forms the base.
As expected, Huawei has launched Huawei Honor 7 in India. This size of display for easy handling and it reproduces crisp, bright text and vibrant colors. And the best part, it can do so from any angle.
Hauwei Honor 7 specs consists of a Huawei Kirin 935 octa-core processor (four cores at 2.2GHz and four at 1.5GHz), Mali-T628MP4 graphics, and a 5.2-inch display with resolution of 1920x 1080. We will reserve our take on its performance for our extensive review of the device.
The first thing to grab your attention is without doubt the rear fingerprint sensor – an unusual addition to a mid-range phone. Interestingly if you swipe on the fingerprint reader from top to bottom it opens the notifications shade.

In terms of camera specifications, the Honor 7 has 20-megapixel rear camera with phase detection autofocus. The front-facing shooter is reported to be 10 MP. The camera can click an image in just 0.1 seconds, and sometimes it is faster than this also. Overall, it is capable of reproducing bright and detailed shots in well-lit environment. It does come pretty thin and light, but still lacks that appeal which we were hoping to see in a Rs. 5,499 smartwatch. It is capable of reproducing impressive and bright selfies. Killer camera with beauty mode… check. However, Huawei has put texture on bands to make them look different from regular rubbery bands. You will also notice brand new icons that are available for the Settings menu as soon as you submit your device to the upgrade.
