Yesterday we reported that Taylor Swift was going to take a break from music – a little time away from the spotlight – and now it’s been revealed that she’s the Queen of Instagram.
The Blank Space singer joked that the achievement was due to her “cute cats”.
And so, Kim’s reign was only of short duration: Taylor just swooped in there and beat Kim Kardashian’s 48 million followers with a whopping 50 mill.
Rounding out the Top 5 are Selena Gomez at 46.2 million, and Ariana Grande at 44.9 million.
Though the lineup of guest stars on the pop star’s 1989 Wold Tour suggests a preference for pretty mainstream, Top 40 tunes, the playlist she just shared on social media demonstrates she’s also hip to more obscure music that is pretty solid.
Swifties want to see Taylor succeed and take down anyone who says she can’t do something.

“I’m in the news every single day for multiple different reasons”, she told the publication. “If you do something that defines your character to be not what the public thought you were, that’s the biggest risk”.
