“We are not pro right now”, Freeze said.

It’s a quick fall for a team that looked like one of the nation’s best just two weeks ago, when the Rebels traveled to Tuscaloosa and stunned Alabama 43-37. Why Ole Miss Will Win What’s been New Mexico State’s biggest problem?

Caldwell now has an opportunity to make his first start for the Rebels in Saturday’s 11 a.m. homecoming game against New Mexico State.

That’s a long list to fix. These two have no recent meetings but New Mexico State is 0-6 against the spread in its last 6 against SEC opponents.

Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze is one of the top-10 highest paid coaches in all of college football. It’s a little bit of a break, and then comes a nice stretch of three SEC home games in the next four. It starts tonight when we watch film.

“I’ll assure you one thing – our team isn’t going to give up”. On his second spinning of the recruiting carousel, Shepard originally gave a verbal commitment to rival Mississippi State before flipping to Ole Miss three days later on signing day in 2014.

Rover Mike Hilton has played the position in the past and will move there to replace A.J. Moore.

Senior Trae Elston will move to Hilton’s old position as strong safety and sophomore C.J. Hampton will enter the starting lineup as the free safety.

The Rebels are also dealing with injuries in their secondary.

Linebacker C.J. Johnson will miss four to six games after undergoing surgery for a torn meniscus, according to Daniel Paulling of the Jackson Clarion-Ledger.

Changes will be coming this Saturday against New Mexico State. New Mexico State is giving up 45.8 points and 544.5 yards per game this season while putting up 30.2 points and 421.5 yards per game on offense.
