No gray area in Fast choice

Taking a page from franchise star and producer Vin Diesel’s playbook, Gray confirmed the deal via a recent post on his Facebook page. We are eight films into this series and only one installment has been directed by a white person. He also previously worked with Diesel on the 2003 action film “A Man Apart”, and with Dwayne Johnson on 2005 crime comedy “Be Cool”. The film not only overperformed at the box office (more than $150 million on a $20 million budget), but drew critical acclaim, so much so that it’s drumming up Oscar buzz.

It’s been a banner year for F. Gary Gray. It was apparently part of a plan that he developed back in high school. “And all the intermediate steps you’d have to take in between”.

But The Fast and the Furious actor looked completely different while sunning himself in Miami last week.

Quite a few fans and critics of the Fast & Furious franchise became highly skeptical when it was first announced that there would even be an eighth movie.

Chris “Ludacris” Bridges and Vin Diesel will reprise their respective roles as Tej and Dominic Toretto in “Furious 8”. Could Furious 8 be another record-setter?

The eighth Fast & Furious movie is set to hit theaters April 14, 2017 and Vin says it will be a return to the world of racing.
