Passing Gun Laws Through US Congress Not Easy
And it’s time to review America’s gun laws and restrict them.

According to Wesenberg, the officers were five miles away when dispatch sent out the call of a shooting at Umpqua Community College Thursday morning. “Our thoughts, our hearts and our prayers go out to all of the families of those who died and were injured”. Victims include Lucero Alcaraz (19), Treven Taylor Ansbach (20), Rebecka Ann Carnes (18), Kim Saltmarsh Dietz (59), Lucas Eibel (18), Jason Dale Johnson (34), Lawrence Levine (67), and Sarena Dawn Moore (44).
Two shots missed. A third hit the shooter on the right side.
In California, he also passed two uneventful years from 2010-2012 as a student at El Camino College, also in Torrance, the school said. Many were locals. Jori Messner, vice president of legislative affairs for the Associated Students of COCC, organized the event and asked the crowd to remember the heroes and the victims.
Milwaukee’s police chief, Edward Flynn, responded to Sheriff Clarke by saying that he wouldn’t hold back from talking about guns and how they get into the hands of criminals. The ceremony at Richland emphasized the unique bond community colleges across the country share. The Oregon Court of Appeals ruled that firearm possession could only be regulated by the state legislature.

But if that’s not the way they think it should work at the White House-if Republicans candidates for president support open carry and concealed carry everywhere but there-then they’re a bunch of fucking hypocrites. He acknowledged the presence of firearms in the rural community, explaining that people love to hunt and fish. “It is everybody’s responsibility to ensure the safety of this campus …” But I was surrounded by American culture – movies, TV shows, music, books and art all made their ways into my head. After more than a dozen mass shootings since his election, President Obama sounded both outraged and tired a day after the Oregon shootings. People have to realize that we must stop going around in circles, put our own personal agendas aside and agree to work together.
As a COCC student, Messner believes the campus is safe. A lot is said and nothing happens. Mass shooting is an occurrence so prevalent that we have become, in a sense, desensitized to its lethality.
Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D-Oregon) echoed a similar need for action in a statement on Thursday.
“This is something we should politicize”, Obama said. “Something must be done”.
His mother, Laurel Harper, posted a number of messages on online message boards describing his battle with Asperger’s syndrome and she kept loaded rifles at home.
