Hundreds of mourners have gathered in Cappawhite, Co Tipperary, this evening for the removal of Jim Carrey’s ex-girlfriend Cathriona White, who passed away in tragic circumstances last month.

Several notes were found in Ms White’s home and police discovered her body next to prescription pills, a few of which were reportedly in Carrey’s name.
Actor Jim Carrey is believed to be in Ireland for his late girlfriend Cathriona White’s funeral.
An autopsy was conducted in California.
She is to be buried alongside her father Pat, at Cappawhite Cemetery.
An autopsy has been carried out on her body, however results of toxicology tests will not be known for a few weeks.
“Cathriona was a shining light in our lives who was loved deeply by her entire family”.
A requiem mass will be held on Saturday at 11:30am, at the Our Lady of Fatima Church in the village of Cappawhite.
The 30-year-old make up artist and Carrey had been dating on and off since meeting on a film set 2012. Though the couple split in late 2013, it is understood that they reunited earlier this year before recently parting ways again.
It emerged last week that Ms White was married to U.S. cameraman Mark Burton.
A death notice said she was sadly missed by her sisters and brothers Lisa, James, Larina, Sarah and Tadhg, her stepmother Brid, mother Brigid, grandmother Lily, grandfather James and extended family members and a wide circle of friends. She also worked as an actor.

“An external loud speaker, and a small reserved area for media cameras, will be available on the church grounds”, the CCO added.
