The three suspects arrested in connection to the homicide of a popular tantra teacher in Marin County have been linked to the shooting death of Audrey Carey, a 23-year-old woman found dead in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. Carter’s Doberman pinscher was turned over to the Marin County Humane Society and is expected to recover.
Police said the three suspects, Sean Michael Angold, 24, Morrison Haze Lampley, 23, and Lila Scott Allgood, 18, were arrested at the Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Southeast Portland. A few of the regular diners told her the three suspects were asking if anyone wanted to buy a Volkswagen Jetta station wagon, Chapman said.
The suspects were headed north and surveillance footage confirmed they had stopped at a convenience store in Fairfax and a gas station in Point Reyes, Calif. Carter was still holding the leash of his dog, which was also shot. Police also report they recovered a gun believed to have been used in the crimes.
“We serve low-income and homeless people, many of them with mental illness”, Chapman said.
According to the Marin County Sheriff’s Department, all three suspects, none of whom appear to have a permanent address, will return to Marin to face charges there for Carter’s death.
The Marin County Sheriff’s Office said it is still unknown exactly when the three homicide suspects will arrive back in Marin County.
Robbery appears to have been the motive in both killings, San Francisco police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said Friday. Investigators went to Portland to interview the suspects, who had been arrested on suspicion of murder by Portland police, and found property belonging to Carey in their possession.
“It has been a very traumatic season for us with Lokita’s cancer, then the Valley Fire that destroyed our beloved Harbin Hot Springs”, Rose said.

All three suspects were arrested Wednesday in Portland, Oregon in the death of Steve Carter, 67. So city police traveled to Portland to investigate further.

Marin County sheriff’s investigators were continuing to look for additional evidence and witnesses as they prepared their case for the District Attorney’s Office. She is undergoing treatment at the Marin Cancer Institute and Carter had returned from Costa Rica last month to take care of her.

Followers credited Carter with improving their romantic relationships by teaching tantra, a philosophy of meditation, yoga and sexuality famously embraced by rock star Sting.
