The factsheet further states that 80 per cent of the constituency residents are deprived of clean drinking water. Ayaz Sadiq said the PLM-N would win by-polls in NA-122 as people of the constituency will once again reject politics of sits-in. Then Nawaz Sharif extended it to 2017. The Operation Zarb-e-Azb was the initiative of the present government that helped restore peace besides dismantling terrorist network in the country, he added.

Preparations for elections are underway as campaigning is at an all-time high from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and PML-N.

When contacted, an official of the ECP said Section 4(f) of the Political Parties Order, 2002, specifically barred formation or conversion of a party to a foreign-aided political entity.

PTI and PML-N will show power in Lahore to attract the voters. “Audit that!” demanded Imran Khan.

He said under Section 13 a political party was bound to submit to the ECP within 60 days from the close of each financial year a consolidated statement of its accounts. He said PM Nawaz Sharif made false promises to the masses to end load-shedding.

In the letter, written by PTI senior leader Dr Shireen Mazari and addressed to Secretary ECP Babar Yaqoob Fateh Muhammad, the PTI accuses the PML-N of trying to influence the by-election by “the sudden release of advertisement” by the Punjab government.
