‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2′ Trailer: Katniss Rallies The Districts
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 brings the franchise to its powerful final chapter in which Katniss Everdeen [Jennifer Lawrence] realizes the stakes are no longer just for survival – they are for the future.

In the most action-packed trailer yet, footage shows Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson), Gale Hawthorne (Liam Hemsworth), in an intense brawl against the Capitol. As the face of the Rebellion, it’s Katniss’ job to convince those who dwell in the Districts that lead to the capitol that they have a common enemy in the Capital – and in its leader, President Snow (Donald Sutherland). “Stop killing for him”, Katniss says. “Turn your weapons to Snow”.
Along with the trailer, a clip of the movie was released last week. With over $2.3 billion dollars in worldwide box office grosses and one movie left, The Hunger Games will ultimately land among the most successful franchises of the current decade, even if we assume that Marvel’s reign will continue and that Star Wars will be a monster draw.
“The changes that happened in my life from doing these movies are so permanent that I don’t think I’ll ever really say goodbye, it’ll always be a part of me”, Lawrence added. The screenplay had been written by Danny Strong and Peter Craig; both had also worked on last year’s ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay: Part 1’.
