No word on the official release or story details but with Cameron talking about three upcoming sequels it would serve both Dark Horse and the films to have these books out sooner than later to serve as refreshers to this world. The news was revealed at the New York Comic Con and is part of a deal with Dark Horse and Cameron’s Lightstorm Entertainment. He said: “I’m excited that starting now, even before the release of the first sequel, Dark Horse Comics will be bringing you new adventures from Pandora”.
“Lone Wolf and Club”, the classic samurai manga by Kazuo Koike and Goseki Kojima, will be reimagined in a futuristic miniseries from Dark Horse Comics.
The new films and comics aren’t the only new items coming from Avatar. The company is known for the progressive and creator-friendly atmosphere it provides for writers and artists.

Then, back in 2003, Dark Horse announced that it would be remaking the series as Lone Wolf 2100, a post-apocalyptic story featuring numerous series’ recurring characters. Its successful line of comics and products based on popular properties includes Mass Effect, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Aliens, Conan, EVE Online, Halo, Serenity, Game of Thrones, and Domo.
