A Matt Barnes Derek Fisher fight broke out over the weekend after Barnes learned that Fisher was at his Los Angeles home hanging out with his estranged wife, Gloria Govan. Fisher was reportedly left with only a few scratches according to the Post’s source.

Fisher’s newfound status with Govan comes months after he filed for divorce from his wife in March after 10 years of marriage.
When Barnes arrived at his former house, he found Govan, Fisher and about 10 other people, gathered and cozying up around a bonfire.
Barnes and Govan separated past year and a few believe that it affected his play on the court. His children live in Los Angeles and Fisher alluded to the fact that he flew from New York after Saturday’s practice to see them.
“Barnes was in Santa Barbara [at Memphis Grizzlies training camp] and heard that Fisher was in his house”, a source said. Barnes may face discipline from the league for his attack on Fisher. He drops everything, goes to his vehicle and drives 95 miles to accost the romantic rival of his ex-lover.
Fisher missed practice on Monday.
Distract the media from how bad his allegedly professional basketball team is by shifting national attention to his personal life instead.
The Grizzlies issued a statement saying, “We are aware and now gathering information regarding today’s report involving Matt Barnes. We’re obviously public figures, but we’re at work”, and added, “So I won’t be commenting on anything that’s happened personally or privately for me”.
Speaking to the media Thursday, Barnes said he drove to the home in order to check on his sons, about whom he anxious after speaking with them on FaceTime.

The Knicks will travel to Memphis on January 16 while the Grizzlies will head to New York City on February 5.
