A few hours ago, a report claimed that the reason her dad Tom Cruise didn’t attend was that no parent was invited, and not because he was snubbing his daughter for allegedly marrying outside the Church of Scientology.

Entertainment Tonight reports that Bella and boyfriend Max Parker’s marriage took place at the luxurious Dorchester Hotel in London on September 18. While Bella’s brother Connor Cruise, 20, was in attendance at the low-key nuptials, neither Tom nor Kidman were present.
As indicated by TMZ, Cruise upheld the arrangement, and paid the bill for the wedding and gathering at the top of the line Dorchester inn.
Cruise and former wife Kidman adopted daughter Isabella and 20-year-old Connor in 1992 and 1995 respectively, before divorcing in 2001.
The drama around Isabella Cruise’s secret London wedding continues. But the 48-year-old Oscar victor Tom Cruise was quoted in the report saying that he is “thrilled her eldest daughter has found love”.
Still, Kidman is said to be “overjoyed” about her daughter’s new union.
Bella met her husband through mutual friends and the couple started dating earlier this year.
Kidman has been in London since July performing in the play Photograph 51 in the West End, and she reportedly did not miss her show the night of the wedding.
Talking to the New York Post, a source stated: “The wedding was a Scientology ceremony”. Bella really didn’t want to make a big deal out of it. There wasn’t even any sort of official reception as was very, very informal. But she is said to have been effectively “banned” from attending – over fears that her presence would cause a “media circus”.
However their weddings are similar to ceremonies in other churches – featuring a bridal procession as well as a recital of vows between the bride and groom.

There are apparently no hard feelings and Tom has been supportive of the relationship, paying for the wedding and party.
