Victoria’s Secret faces Facebook backlash after editing out butt cheek
Has Victoria’s Secret gone too far yet again? Maybe next time make sure the model does indeed possess two cheeks before asking folks to check out what is supposed to be a voluptuous derrière? Titled “Truly. Madly. Cheeky”, the photo shows a model from behind…minus an entire butt cheek! The lace low-rise sells for $16.50 and is described as “This cheeky is fit to flaunt with sultry straps at the mesh back and lots of cheek peek”.

Victoria’s Secret was slammed after a Photoshop fail left a model with a missing butt cheek.
The company posted a lingerie ad on Twitter with a model depicted with her back to the camera to promote their “cheeky” underwear.
The comments under the picture – which was captioned, “Truly”.
However, sometimes those touch-ups backfire, like the photo Victoria’s Secret posted on Facebook under the heading “Truly Madly Cheeky”.
And among the top comments was this one from Lauren Bersaglio, saying, “Horrible awful photoshopping”. The backlash highlights how Victoria’s Secret is at risk of losing potential customers by editing photos of already-thin models.
“Wishing you would learn from Aerie”, wrote yet another commenter. But the arbiters of the flawless Body seem to keep telling us what they think the ideal Body is, and it’s so often a cheerful picture.
