She has, after all, been the show’s “star baker” three times – earning herself the hallowed “Hollywood handshake” for her signature bake in last week’s semi-final.
Nadiya also explained that she decided to make a lemon drizzle cake for her showstopper because she never had her own wedding cake.

This year’s Bake Off final didn’t have me on the edge of my seat because I felt Nadiya winning was a bit of a foregone conclusion.
