Never mind the Herschel Walker record pursuit.

“Praying for a clear conscience for the GREAT Nick Chubb”.

The “SMH” (Internet slang for “shaking my head”) could apply both to Chubb’s injury and Chubb hurting his earning potential by playing football for free in college.

Chubb, a sophomore, ran to the left of the formation and was pushed out of bounds. UGA officials would confirm only that it is a knee injury and they do not expect him to return today. The injury looked serious as trainers immediately tended to Chubb on the field. He was on a streak of 13 consecutive games of 100 or more rushing yards dating back to 2014. Chubb is averaging 8.2 yards per carry with 745 rushing yards this season.

Chubb took a toss and bounced the play to his left.

Sony Michel and Keith Marshall are the viable backups for Georgia, but the loss of the Heisman Trophy candidate is a devastating blow to the Bulldogs’ hopes for 2015.

Georgia actually had three knee injuries that day two years ago.

Here is the injury. The video is below, but please be advised it is as graphic as it sounds.
