Jessica Jones Teaser Gives First Look (Sort of) to David Tennant’s Kilgrave

With each release of a short but exciting teaser, I know I get more and more antsy.

Check out the full clip below. It reunites the creative team behind “Alias”, the 2001 comic book series in which Jessica Jones first appeared, with “Powers” Brian Michael Bendis writing, Michael Gaydos drawing and David Mack providing cover artwork. A traumatic experience led to her retirement and into her new role as head of Alias Investigations.

Former Doctor Who star David, 44, seems to be relishing the chance to ham it up as the long-time Daredevil foe, who goes by the moniker Zebediah Killgrave.

Jessica Jones is set to premiere on the online streaming service on November 20th. This chemical spill also gave him super powers: the ability to tell people exactly what to do, basically turning them into his puppets.

The video below, which like the many other teasers before it, runs for about 40 seconds, shows us Jessica in her apartment putting together the pieces of a few type of conspiracy or case, with Kilgrave narrating the action.

The latest teaser gets close to the “Least Annoying” marker based entirely on the fact that it has Jones’ whole face-finally-and a voice that isn’t just someone singing.

The camera then shows an image of Purple Man’s face superimposed on the photographs, hinting he is watching her every move. Fans get their first look at Ritter’s character from the front after the last three teasers only showed her from behind, but much about Jones remains a mystery so far.
