At running back, the ‘Noles are thin, thin, thin. Not the case this time around.
That all leads into this week’s rivalry game with Miami, a rivalry that’s lost a few of its national prominence in recent years, but means no less to the coaches and players involved.

All that said, there is a silver lining.

Suddenly, this could be a solid RPI top-75 win if the Noles can pull it off. He was hurt last week after just two carries, and FSU had to hold on against lowly Wake Forest. Thomas Aquinas: The No. 5 WR is a Miami commit but not only is he visiting FSU this weekend, he is headed to Ohio State next week when the Buckeyes play Penn State.

I’m interested in playing Florida. They’ll be fired up and we know Florida State will be fired up.
The outcry for Miami athletic director Blake James to give Al Golden the Joe Philbin treatment is at a deafening level.
Miami’s coaching staff gripes are in-house, family business.
Maybe, maybe not-but it sure feels that way.
And Miami may have a hard choice to make on Golden.
