Thomas Muller to Manchester United: Bayern Munich tell club to ‘stop emailing
That is essentially what Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said to Sport1 over the weekend in regards to Manchester United’s continued pursuit of Bayern’s prized academy product.

Bayern have constantly said Muller is not for sale and now Rummenigge has reiterated their position, saying any future offer from United for the 26-year-old would be pointless.
Bayern Munich has confirmed that legendary goalscorer Gerd Muller is suffering from Alzheimer’s.
Muller’s wife Uschi also asked for understanding as there will no official appointments or visits for his 70th birthday on November 3.
Gerd Müller is one of the all-time greats of world football.
Gerd, who once held the record for goals at World Cup finals, scored 68 times in 62 appearances for West Germany, winning the European Championship in 1972 and the World Cup two years later.
Muller played 15 seasons with Bayern, where he won three European Cups between 1974-1976 and scored an astonishing 533 goals.
According to Christian Falk, football correspondent for German newspaper Bild, Bayern Munich’ chief executive officer is absolutely sick of being contacted by United over Muller’s availability. “He remained modest and restrained despite all the success, something that particularly impressed me”. The 20-time English champions signed Bastian Schweinsteiger from Bayern and were looking to add his compatriot to their squad in the summer transfer window. ‘That is why we never even considered selling Thomas Muller.
