World leaders and influencers have joined the global campaign on Twitter.

Obama hopes the awareness of this issue will also inspire children who are getting educations.

Preach, girl! All too often women give up their dreams for men! Every girl in the audience quickly proceeded to lose her shit.

Obama shared the stage with Charlize Theron, former Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard, and youth representative Nurfhada, a 16-year-old girl. Finally, FLOTUS entered to an Apollo-sized round of applause.

Malala completed the triple whammy of celebrity star power, speaking on the importance of girls’ education next to schoolgirls from Nigeria, Syria, Pakistan, and other countries where girls’ education is in peril. Whether that development comes in the form of education, pursuit of goals or just becoming a better human being, relationships are so much better when each person is fulfilled and at least working toward self actualization. “Education is a social vaccine against HIV”. “He said these words, ‘Stay strong, ‘ and they embraced and hugged”. “You’re not sure what to wear, you hate the way your hair looks everyday… you don’t have any money so you count on your parents, and they always say “no”… this is what I hear from my kids”. “You are worth it and you are valued”, offered up.

Michelle Obama leads the White House’s Let Girls Learn Initiative that seeks to to help the more than 62 million girls around the world who are not in school find a way to attend a school and get an education. His client was “amazed” by the experience, Staver said, and “never imagined in her life that she would meet with the pope”.

She and her husband have been predicted as future activists for race relations in the U.S. and girls’ education around the world.

And then she pretended to drop the mic.

“I also want to do little things, like, you know, open a window”, she told Colbert. I’m like, who cares what you’re eating?
