Suh avoids punishment, National Football League deems his kick of Fitzpatrick inadvertent

Chris Ivory had a career day rushing for the Jets.

Now, there’s probably enough substance behind Ivory’s long and unlikely route into the National Football League alone to write a sports biography rare in the fact that it’s actually compelling, but that’s or another time and another place. Look at the toughness displayed here by Ivory, who just blasts right through the grasp of Suh for a 1st down.

Of course in the game of pro football, injuries are everywhere.

Decker totaled 10 catches on 14 targets in the team’s first two games for 134 yards and two touchdowns.

Lamar Miller (Running Back): Miller only had 7 carries in the blowout against the Jets. Offensive coordinator Bill Lazor made a few curious calls, including not ordering any running plays after the Dolphins got a first down at the Jets’ 4 with more than six minutes remaining.

The Jets had more yards of offense in the first half on Sunday against the Dolphins than they had in the entire game against the Eagles in Week 3. Jets DL Leonard Williams (ankle) will not likely practice Tuesday before the team gets a week off during its bye, but coach Todd Bowles did not believe the injury to be serious…. That unit has been a punchline for years under former head coach Rex Ryan, as the Jets searched in vain for a quarterback to lead their offense.

This season at 1-3 is not going to end in a division title. Ryan Quigley averaged 29 yards per punt, which the Dolphins used to good advantage. Now, having been given the chance to shine, he’s proving he’s more than worth the attention.
