His speech spanned a spider-web of topics that included his disdain for media coverage, many of his fellow Republican presidential candidates and current political leadership as well as Thursday’s news that Kevin McCarthy had dropped out of a race for House speaker. I am voting for Mr. Trump. He said he only goes after those candidates after they come after him.

The Texas senator has raised a total of $26.5 million since entering the race in late March for the 2016 Republican nomination, the Cruz campaign said in a statement.
