Jerry Jones makes matters worse in response to Greg Hardy’s comments

Earlier this week, Greg Hardy-you know, the guy who (allegedly) threw his ex-girlfriend on to a pile of guns while threatening her life early last year-returned to the Cowboys after serving a four-game suspension.

“Well, we just addressed it immediately”, Garrett said. We just want to contribute to the defense and do our part on this team to make this team better. Everyone, from ownership to coaches to players, have only good things to say about Hardy’s work ethic and demeanor.

“He’s a great player”, Brady said. “That’s how we want to proceed going forward”.

Either way, given the nature of what he was charged with, you’d assume that Hardy would 1) keep his mouth shut about everything except playing defensive end for the Cowboys and 2) even then, watch very carefully what he said.

When asked about his thoughts on Hardy’s comments, Brady wouldn’t bite and credited Hardy’s skills on the field, but he doesn’t really care about what he says.

“I hope I come out guns blazing”, Hardy told reporters Tuesday.

She’s a rising star in sports media; her latest rant on Hardy and the National Football League shows just why. “I find myself more going out extra time with teammates and other d-tackles and o-tackles working through stuff, a lot of that really”. He then paused before adding: “Well, you’re not allowed to have guns on the football field”.

Not that it’s any surprise, but Tom Brady chose to take the high road when asked about Greg Hardy’s comments regarding Brady’s wife, Gisele Bündchen. I have what they call fresh legs. He is expected to play this week against New England.

Hardy deflected all questions about the domestic violence incident and his suspension. And on the very first day Hardy was back in the facility and available to reporters, he opted not to take the apologetic route, or the “I’m excited to be back and excited to play New England” route, but instead the freaky, awkward attempt-at-comedy route.

Hardy was convicted of assault on his ex-girlfriend Nicole Holder a year ago, in a shocking tale in which he was accused of throwing her onto a couch full of assault rifles and choking her. He was placed on the commissioner’s exempt list, missing all but one game. Hardy appealed and arbitrator Harold Henderson reduced it to four games in July.
