A University of Worcester student and “exceptionally” talented teenage footballer has been killed in the terror attack in Tunisia.

Seventeen Britons are confirmed to have died in the Tunisa attack, but the death toll is feared to rise above 30.

He said Mr Evans was a highly popular and well known member of the council’s gas management team and that his heart went out to the family.

“The club offer its full support to the families at this tragic time”.

He condemned those responsible as “evil”, saying the victims were “innocent holidaymakers relaxing and enjoying time with their friends and families… they didn’t pose a threat to anybody”.

He will be sadly missed.

Walsall posted a picture of the fans with the statement on their Facebook page, where supporters were also invited to write their own tributes.

He started at the University in 2013 and was due to graduate next year.

Dunderry Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), where her husband Declan was treasurer and her son Simon and daughter Hazel represented at football, hurling, and camogie, paid tribute.

He tweeted: “Hi Everyone, Sorry to tell you we lost my mother Sue Davey tonight but I want to thank everybody that tried to help me & my family”.

“We are absolutely devastated for Adrian’s family, friends and colleagues and our thoughts are with them and all those affected by this tragedy”.

“Joel contacted us recently asking if he could spend some of his university summer break coming into school as a volunteer as he was considering a career in primary education”.

Anxious relatives have taken to social media to appeal for help tracing family members who had been staying in the resort, while thousands of holidaymakers have been fleeing beach resorts and heading back home.
