Small plane crashes into house in Northern California
A plane departing from Lake Tahoe Airport (TVL) crashed shortly after takeoff yesterday just after 5:40pm.

No one inside the home was injured.
One witness reported sizable flames visible from Pioneer Trail as he passed by shortly after the crash.
The crash started a fire at the home, but fire crews were able to contain the blaze. The crash caused a brief fire that was quickly put out.
Both the FAA and National Transportation Safety Board will be investigating the crash.
The names and conditions of the people onboard the aircraft have not yet been released. There appeared to be no structural damage to the building.

Alan Kenitzer, with FAA communications, says preliminary information indicate a BEECH 35 Bonanza crashed into a home on the 1600 block of Tionontati Street upon departure from the nearby Lake Tahoe Airport.
