Kanye West Auditions For ‘American Idol’
With that said, the show has the opportunity to go out with a big bang, and it’s all thanks to Kanye West. The talented Mr. West chose to crash the San Francisco auditions for Idol, performing for judges Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez, and Harry Connick, Jr. while Kim Kardashian filmed the entire thing.

The self-proclaimed “greatest living rock star” showed American Idol hopefuls how it’s done, after he popped by to surprise the judges.
Far be it from us to suggest it was a set-up for the last series, Kim and Kanye later spoke to host Ryan Seacrest who shared a picture of Yeezy smiling and reaching for a high five. Perhaps the advice he was given by President Obama earlier in the day gave him just the confidence boost he needed.
The rapper performed his 2004 hit, Gold Digger, a song that struck a chord with judge, Jennifer Lopez who was mentioned in the song.
Joking about Kanye’s recent announcement he plans to run for president in 2020, Obama said: ‘In case Kanye is serious about this whole POTUS thing – or as he calls it, “Peezy”- I do have advice for him.
