TechRadar reported that the BlackBerry Priv will be an Android powerhouse with a Safeguard app that keeps the phone secure. As per these leaks, the display of PRIV has a subtle curve to it on the sides. Most likely, the handset will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop, but there’s a distinct possibility of it being the first non-Nexus smartphone to come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

Since the core customer base of enterprise and government wouldn’t be able to sustain the company, it seems that focusing on the hardware business may not make all that sense after all. As you would expect, the BlackBerry Priv will feature everything from a QHD screen down to a powerful processor, in an effort to draw in customers who are not content with the current smartphone offerings. Rumored specs include an Adreno 418 GPU, an 18MP rear camera, and 3GB RAM. The front camera will be a 5 MP wide-angle sensor.
