Charlotte will be playing against the Clippers without one of the team’s best defensive players in forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist who is set to be out for six months following a shoulder surgery earlier this week.
Chris Paul missed the game for the Clippers due to a fractured left index finger from practice that day.
Jeremy Lin finished with 16 points and 4 assists.
Cody Zeller also scored 16 points, one of the seven Charlotte players to reach double digits in the match.
In the Hornets’ win last Sunday against Miami, point guard Kemba Walker tallied 17 points to lead all scorers for the team.
CLIPPERS: J.J. Reddick had a team-high 23 points, shooting 4-for-9 from 3-point range …
Zeller was 6-for-6 from the floor and added 10 rebounds…
