Four terrorists killed in Pakistan

At least four terrorists belonging to Al-Qaeda were killed during a joint search operation by law enforcement agencies and police in Ferozwala near Lahore on early Monday morning, local media reported.

According to details, police and law enforcement agencies on a tip off started a search operation in Ferozwala tehsil of Lahore where a suicide bomber blew himself up while other terrorists opened fire on police personnel.

Further, the official said, “One of the militants blew himself up, injuring three of his accomplices and a police official”.

Reportedly, the terrorists were planning to target the ruling Pakistan Muslim League leaders.

Other than the search team, Sheikhupra District Police Officer and the forensic experts also reached the spot.

Meanwhile, the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif also appreciated the successful operation conducted by the law enforcement agencies against terrorists in Kala Shah Kaku.

The Chief Minister said that that the law enforcing agencies bravely and courageously failed the evil designs of the terrorist.

“The group belongs to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan”, Khanzada.

Two terrorists have been captured alive and taken to an undisclosed location for interrogation, police said, adding that three suicide jackets, one rocket launcher, five kalashnikovs, scores of bullets and maps of sensitive and important places were recovered from the house.
