Horrifying Halloween display gives kids the heebie jeebies!
A couple in Parma, Ohio has constructed a Halloween display so realistic and gruesome that it’s striking fear into their neighbors. While the frightening display is sure to be heralded by the growing community of Halloween worshippers, there’s just one big problem: the home sits less than a block away from the Dentzler Elementary School. “You take a double take because it is a very realistic display; nearly horrified that somebody would think that it’s okay to put it that close to an elementary school”.

The display includes dummies covered in blood, wrapped in bags and hanging from trees. Needless to say, it’s no G-rated affair. No such luck; Parma officials say there’s nothing they can do because the Halloween display is protected by the First Amendment.
Several people in an Ohio neighborhood think a graphic Halloween display is going too far.
Neighbors say if they don’t take it down, they should at least tone it down. The homeowners say the display is just meant to be for fun, and they claim they’ve not had a single complaint.

“We don’t want to scare kids”, she said. “We don’t want to scare kids”, Barrett told the news station. Her daughter even offered a few suggestions of other Halloween displays. She says she even has a two-year-old and a special-needs teenager, and would never do anything to purposely frighten children. A nine-year-old girl who attends the elementary school nearby told WOIO-TV that she would have suggested the family decorate their yard with giant inflatable pumpkins and fake plastic skulls.
