San Francisco QB Colin Kaepernick not ‘worried about job security’

Elsewhere, I think the skill positions might not have so much success. “Whether football will be here or not, I will be fine”, Kaepernick told reporters Wednesday. “I’m not anxious about job security when I step in this building”.

The office at 4949 Marie P. DeBartolo Way isn’t a bright and cheery place these days, for more employees than Kaepernick.

“I want a confident man, knowing just full-bore ahead at that position”.

I’ve got my eyes on one game, in particular, and if you keep reading, I also have a free pick down below. “And I believe in the quarterback”.

What the heck has happened to Colin Kaepernick?

“Yeah, I can”, Kaepernick responded strongly.

Steven Ruiz of USA Today this week took a look at old tapes of Kaepernick and says his troubles obviously have become the focal point of the team’s problems.

The frustration over the team’s recent struggles seemed to come to a head during Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers, as wide receivers Torrey Smith and Anquan Boldin were both seen to be frustrated by poor throws and bad reads on Kaepernick’s part. “It did cost us, yes”. If the city does move forward with it, Reno would be the minor-league capital of the world with the Aces (baseball) and Bighorns (basketball) in town and soccer coming in 2016. He’s thrown five interceptions, four in a loss to the Arizona Cardinals, since then. The Giants may want to target Bowman for a few extra attention so that newbies – defensive tackle Quinton Dial, outside linebacker Aaron Lynch and cornerback Kenneth Acker – have to make plays in order for the defense to get off the field.

My Prediction: Clearly, the San Francisco 49ers are in a tailspin, and unless something completely unexpected happens, they will lose the game. “Don’t play not to make a mistake”.

Just in time for their matchup with arguably the most vulnerable pass defenses in the league, the New York Giants.

Kaepernick completed just 50 percent of his passes with five interceptions and no touchdowns in the past two defeats.

Asked who would make the call on such a change involving an established quarterback like Colin Kaepernick, coach Jim Tomsula left no doubt. The injury delayed his training-camp debut this summer, but Ward said his health wasn’t why he averaged just 18 snaps in the first three games. “And those are things that we’re working to fix”.

Columnist Tim Kawakami of the Bay Area News Group said Kaepernick’s regression is a reflection of the incompetence of the organization. But I have liked the other guys, too.

Does that mean Tomsula might be considering a quarterback change?

Earlier in the week, the 49ers acquired Minnesota Vikings linebacker Gerald Hodges for what Tomsula described as “depth” purposes. He practiced on a limited basis Thursday and Friday.

General manager Trent Baalke came out to practice and kept a close eye on the offensive linemen’s warm-ups, especially those of center Marcus Martin and right guard Jordan Devey. Vernon Davis is settling into a post-prime decline and has been dealing with injury.

Quotable: “The back judge was on the play and in his judgment he didn’t feel it was an overt act so he didn’t throw the flag”, – NFL VP of Officiating Dean Blandino, to NFL Network, on why there was no penalty on Wright’s batted ball in the end zone. His quarterbacks coach, Steve Logan, was last a quarterbacks coach in 2006 for the Rhein Fire.

The Giants have far and away the weakest pass defense the 49ers have seen yet this season.
