The Oakland Raiders will try to be the first team this season to hand the Denver Broncos a loss as they meet at the O.co Coliseum in the National Football League. Del Rio said despite the system changes under new coach Gary Kubiak, the Broncos still look familiar. “We’re counting on him being ready to go”.
Managing Editor of Mile High Report, Kyle Montgomery stepped up to the bat and offered his opinions on the Broncos match-up against the Raiders this weekend. I’m not saying they’re playoff bound. “We can’t trip off this game”. It would be only fitting if they retire at the same time, maybe after this season (or next?), and enter the Pro Football Hall of Fame together as well. “It’s one game”, he said then.
Against a young and talented squad, Manning and the Broncos should pull out all the stops to get their fifth win of the season. In fact, all signs point to a good old fashioned Broncos beat down of their arch rival Raiders.
“We’re all capable of making mistakes”, Del Rio said. “It would mean that Week 5 was successful”. Just call them the Lawn Rangers.
But, we don’t think they’ll win.
The Broncos have been a challenge especially since Peyton Manning joined the team in 2012. The top 10 and most of the first round has players the Raiders likely would have loved to have over Russell, but many of those names were not in contention at number one that year. In 2014, Denver outscored the Raiders in their two meetings 85-31.
In what should be a tight contest throughout, the fate of the Raiders will probably rely on the right arm of veteran quarterback, Derek Carr. And I can’t blame them. The running game for the Broncos has been stagnant and will look to gain a few life against a run defense that is allowing 4.2 yards per rushing attempt on the ground at home.
The Oakland Raiders have a surprise return from the injury list. He lamented recently to Condo, his long snapper since 2007, that he didn’t do a biceps workout. The Raiders are 2-2 and are coming off a narrow 22-20 loss to the Chicago Bears.
“I remember it vividly”, Norton said.
Even in his 16th season, Janikowski, 37, doesn’t plan to retire any time soon.

“He’s eluded me for 18 years”, Woodson, who turned 39 on October 5, told NFL Network this week. “Maybe six, seven, eight more years”. I just don’t see it this week.
