At New York’s Pride Parade the city’s finest were doing their bit to keep the city safe as revelers celebrated, danced and grinded their way through town.

According to BuzzFeed, Santis had been trying to get cops to dance with him all day and had no luck until he finally found the officer in the video. Finally, his plan worked.

“The officer was just standing there, stoic, not really doing anything, just watching the parade, and Aaron just started dancing up against him”, Ponzeka said. He added: “It was such a fun moment”. Ever the good sport, the presently unidentified cop even let his dance partner steal a kiss. Now if we could only get this friendly, tolerant approach to policing applied evenly to all New Yorkers, then community-NYPD relations might not be so sour.
