Marvel’s ‘Jessica Jones’: Early impressions suggest dark show lies ahead
Marvel made a huge splash at New York City Comic 2015 with a surprise visit from the cast and producing team of Marvel’s Daredevil Season 2, according to a report from Variety. Charlie Cox (Daredevil), and Mike Colter (Luke Cage) snapped a photo together.

As mentioned, Tennant was not in attendance, but what we saw in the first episode promises to fully cash in on the clips you have already seen with his sinister voice and eyes but it gets so much darker than I imagined and it felt like he is going to be a superb villain. The second season of Daredevil began production this past July and is set to launch all episodes on Netflix sometime in 2016. She told the crowd that she has a black belt in karate and she has studied Muy Thai.
Bernthal talked about playing Punisher.
Following this, a fan inquired whether the role of the Punisher meant something special to Jon Bernthal, to which he responded that he realized how important the character is to fans and how important he is to the show overall, also mentioning law enforcement and the military’s love for Frank Castle.
One of the early revelations was that Moss will play Jeryn Hogarth, a gender swap of a supporting character from the classic Power Man and Iron Fist comics. Posters have been handed out at the Marvel booth, a number of Jessica Jones-skinned Uber vans are traveling New York streets and a viral campaign featuring at least two (and we’ve been told there’s a third) pieces of street art is popping up near the Javits Center in Manhattan.
The panel also featured the cast of the upcoming Marvel Netflix series Jessica Jones, starring Krysten Ritter of Breaking Bad as Marvel’s superheroine-turned-private detective, which debuts on Netflix next month.

Ritter praised her coworkers as well, including David Tennant, who was missing from the panel due to a commitment to a play overseas. We see Karen looking at an x-ray-type image of a stylized skull… and then Frank Castle aka the Punisher (we don’t see his full face) walks down what appears to be a hospital corridor holding a gun. Here we are a year later, and Marvel’s Daredevil has proven to be a massive hit with fans and critics alike. But the first episode, which was written by Melissa Rosenberg and has the approval of Bendis himself, truly brings Jessica to life.
