The laptop has a 13.5-inch display with 267 pixels per inch and features a track pad made of glass.

Microsoft unveiled its new high-end Lumia models earlier this week, and now as everyone’s waiting for the two devices to start shipping, more information on a few undisclosed features starts surfacing.
Sixth-generation processors from Intel and the GeForce GPU of Nvidia are also featured in the device. Buyers who wish to customize their Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 can also visit Microsoft online stores to order the devices with their own configurations. This allows the display screen to detach itself from the keyboard to be used as a tablet and can even be flipped and reattached to act like a clipboard. “We built Windows 10 for a new era of more personalised computing”, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said.
And specs aside, there’s still the issue of Windows 10 vs. OS X to consider. Microsoft is doubling down on its Surface devices business, unveiling a new laptop alongside an updated tablet.
“With a 5.2” Quad HD display and 32 GB of memory, the Lumia 950 device delivers high power and performance.
Responding to a request for information on when Windows 10 would be coming to the Lumia 640 XL and phones like it, Microsoft said that “broad availability of Windows 10 on other devices, including mobile phones, will begin rolling out in December”.
Microsoft also announced updates to its HoloLens headset, revealing that a developer’s kit will be available in the first quarter of 2016 for $3000. The phones are the much anticipated Microsoft Lumia’s Windows 10 flagship smartphones for this year and are expected to be publicly available next month.
On tablet front Microsoft unveiled Surface Pro 4 tablet, a larger but thinner and lighter version of the Surface Pro 3.
“Some people prefer this form factor”, Ed Giaimo, a senior lead on the Surface Book team, told CNNMoney at an event in New York.

The Surface Book was just one of several Windows 10 products announced on Tuesday.
