Aerosmith to Trump: Stop using ‘Dream On’
“Trump for President does not have our client’s permission to use “Dream On” or any of our client’s other music in connection with the Campaign because it gives the false impression that he is connected with or endorses Mr. Trump’s presidential bid”, read the cease-and-desist letter, delivered Saturday.

In an Associated Press report, Steven Tyler allegedly wants a cease-and-desist order against DonaldTrump who is using “Dream On” for his presidential run.
Tyler’s attorneys are also said to have sent a letter to Trump’s camp back in August about the situation.
This is said to be the second time Trump has been asked not to use the song, having been first warned after an event on August 21 in Mobile, Alabama.
Steven Tyler, however, is a Republican.
Donald Trump has been moving in the circles of money and power long enough that he’s certainly acquired his share of celebrity friends.
Yet another musician has joined the growing chorus of artists telling Donald Trump to please stop using their music for his presidential campaign, but this one probably cuts deeper than most. His attorney, Dina LaPolt, confirmed to TMZ that the decision was not political.
When Donald Trump made his presidential announcement, he used Neil Young’s “Rocking the Free World”, as the soundtrack for his entrance down the escalator. The band issued a statement they posted on their Facebook page where they expressed disapproval about the song’s use on the Trump campaign. “Steven wrote 100 per cent of Dream On, and this is about the unauthorised use of his property”.

If it’s just about capitalism… you’d think Trump would understand Tyler’s stance.
