The middleweight, who was 24-year-old Oti’s first celebrity partner, continued: “I honestly thought they would spread the minorities around”.

Strictly Come Dancing’s latest eliminated contestant Anthony Ogogo has hit out at the BBC One talent show, criticising the number of “trained” celebrities with dance backgrounds and the show’s judging panel.
Facing each other in the dance-off, Anthony Ogogo and Otlile Mabuse once again performed their Pasodoble to Rocky anthem Eye of the Tiger, and Ainsley Harriott and partner Natalie Lowe danced to disco classic Boogie Wonderland. But production were very adamant that I had to do this’.
Bruno agreed with Craig and Darcey, meaning Ainsley Harriott and Natalie Lowe were safely through to next week.
While Goodman and Bussell gave him credit for improvement and enthusiasm, the judges gave him a total score of 19 – the same as the previous week.
He said: “Of all the judges, Darcey came over to me and said, ‘You did really well, you’re too good to go out on week three”.
Oti added: “I’m so proud of him”.
Poor newbie to Strictly’s professional team, Oti, hadn’t even had enough time to sink her teeth in the show.
He said: “I did not think that the BBC would put us together because we’re black or mixed race”.
“I’m one of the few in the competition who’s got no dance history, I’m a complete novice”. It didn’t, but Anthony said “he’d had the most fantastic time” and Oti declared her partner “awesome and a brilliant friend”.
Darcey said: “Both couples did such a great job in that performance and it’s very hard to choose but the couple I would like to save is Ainsley and Natalie”.
Andrea Bocelli performed Don’t Cry For Me Argentina from the movie Evita during the show and the pros opened things with a fantastic group dance.
