Sundar Pichai announces first major appointments Google CEO
Hiroshi Lockheimer has been moved up from Vice President of Android to Senior Vice President of Android, Chrome OS and Chromecast. Lockheimer, who is one of the closest executives to Pichai, is presently a VP for the Android team.

Schindler is one of three execs taking over responsibilities previously held by chief business officer Omid Kordestani, who is moving to an advisory role as part of the Alphabet restructuring and Sundar Pichai’s related promotion to CEO of core Google.
