49ers release cornerback Shareece Wright
The San Francisco 49ers announced on Saturday night that they had released the frustrated cornerback, who raised eyebrows early last week when he requested to either be traded or released from the Niners, who had yet to activate him for a single game.

News of the transaction was first reported via the team’s website. The 28-year-old Wright played his first four seasons with San Diego before signing a one-year deal as a free agent in March. In order to make room on the roster, the team has released cornerback Shareece Wright.
Shortly after his release, Wright tweeted out his thanks to San Francisco for granting his initial wish.
The 6-foot-5, 300-pound Tiller was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft and was waived on August 31, 2013.
Tiller (6-4, 324) was originally signed to the 49ers practice squad on October. 7, 2014.

The 49ers do have a few question marks along their offensive line heading into their Week 5 matchup with the New York Giants. Tiller appeared in one game last season. Tackle Joe Staley (knee) is listed as questionable and guard Alex Boone (shoulder, ankle) is probable.
