Disappointed by the situation, Ferland had a simple response, telling the Seattle Met, “Girl Scouts is for every girl”. Instead of accepting the donation, the Girl Scouts of Western Washington have launched an Indiegogo fundraiser.

After a donation of $100,000 to the Girl Scouts of Western Washington was denied support towards transgender girls, the organization returned the offer. If Girls Scouts wanted to use the money on trans girls, Ferland said, they were told they had to return it.
“Please guarantee that our gift won’t be used to support transgender girls”.
“Our vision at Girl Scouts of Western Washington is that EVERY girl in our region – regardless of her race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, gender identity or geographic location – is empowered to unleash her potential, build her future and transform her world”.
“It was one of the of easiest decisions I’ve had to make”, Ferland said.
The group returned all the money. Its leadership is SO liberal, the Scouts are turning all of America’s girls into militant man-hating lesbian vegans with bitchin’ abortion skills. Council CEO Megan Ferland says, “We were thrilled”, up until a letter came in the mail from the donor. “And I don’t question whether or not they’re a girl”.
No worries, though! Ferland set up a crowdfunding campaign to raise the $100,000 back. It can help students through college, buy a vehicle (or two), and it can help send 500 Girl Scouts to camp.
