A man has been charged with aggravated assault after his pregnant ex-girlfriend was spotted clinging to a auto as he drove down a Houston highway Wednesday.

“She was holding onto the windshield wipers and he was dodging left and right trying to let her off”, Rodriguez said. They said when she tracked him down at a Shell gas staion, she demanded he get out.

Imagine driving down the Gulf Freeway and seeing a woman, screaming and trying to stop an SUV with her body.

Rodriguez was driving with his wife at the time. When he refused to do so, Alverado jumped on the hood.

Police found him later and arrested him.

In the cellphone video, Escobedo continued to step on the gas even with Alverado rolling onto the hood of the SUV.

Escobedo has been charged with assaulting a family member.

The woman, who is 32 weeks pregnant, was reportedly dragged along a motorway in Texas for a mile before falling from the vehicle. Paramedics took Alvarado to the hospital with minor scrapes and bruises.
