US Servicemen Who Stopped French Train Attacker Reunite in Hospital After Stabbing

Army National Guardsman Alek Skarlatos made a trip to Sacramento, California, this weekend to visit his friend Spencer Stone, who has been recovering in the hospital since Thursday.

Stone, meanwhile, remains in fair condition at UC Davis Medical Center after undergoing surgery for three stab wounds he received in the upper torso following the altercation that took place at approximately 12:45 am on Thursday morning.

In a selfie posted on his Instagram account, Skarlatos snapped a shot leaning over Stone’s hospital bed, captioning it, “Saw the hero today”, according to People magazine.

Two of the three American heroes who stopped an armed Islamic terrorist aboard a Paris-bound train were reunited sooner than they expected after one of them ended up in the hospital- for the second time.

Stone is expected to make a full recovery, and the local police are still in search of the group of assailants from last week’s stabbing.

‘It looked like Spencer was defending her, ‘ Cain, 38, said.

“It’s going to take that one piece of information that comes from a witness tip; a friend of a friend that heard something”, Sacramento police spokesman Doug Morse reportedly said.

Apparently dressed in “pants and a tank top”, the mystery woman can be seen getting into the getaway auto with the two men in security camera footage from the liquor store that was released by authorities in a bid to catch the attackers.

Police said this was not a random act but believed to be related to a night club incident.

Skarlatos, Stone and Anthony Sadler were all credited with helping stop the gunman on a train in Europe in August.
