Sundar Pichai appoints three new Google executives following Alphabet restructure

Schindler is one of three execs taking over responsibilities previously held by chief business officer Omid Kordestani, who is moving to an advisory role as part of the Alphabet restructuring and Sundar Pichai’s related promotion to CEO of core Google. The new appointments were announced via the internal emails that circulated around the internet company. Google is hopeful that the changes will bring in more profits for the tech giant.

Neal Mohan, vice president of display and video advertising, has now been given the role of a senior vice president of those two categories. Mohan is heavily involved in the ad videos and other displays for the company, and being heavily involved in YouTube, which is arguably the biggest online video platform, will be a challenge for the executive.
