David: Chance for rain Monday evening into Tuesday
As the fog burns off we will have mostly sunny skies through the early afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 70s. With a southwest wind, we’ll see temperatures climb into the lower and middle 70s today. But, big changes will be noticed as soon as late this week.

Temperatures take a dive on Tuesday.
Tonight will also be much warmer, with temperatures only dropping into the low 60s. Highs behind the front will struggle to reach the upper 50s.
Tonight: Mostly Clear and Cool. Low temperatures in the metro fell into the mid 40s, but areas northwest of Richmond fell into the upper 30s for a few hours.
The weekend is looking mainly dry.
Next weekend another push of cooler air will drop out of Canada leading to highs falling back into the 70s with those overnight lows in the 40s becoming more widespread.

Wednesday, there will be a few lingering instability in the wake of the cold front that moves through Tuesday. Saturday will be the milder day with a cold front moving through in the evening. Saturday will start with a low of 50, but the high will only get to 69 degrees.
