Kansas City father faces charges for domestic assault

Kansas City police said officers tried to stop a vehicle near Parvin Road and Manchester Trafficway as part of a homicide investigation.

Police were called to the home Sunday morning on a report of a child being shot.

The 7-year-old was bleeding from her left hand and crying for her mother.

Craig Tinsley is charged with filming his 7-year-old female child on Sunday, thumping her inside the finger and reduce back.

At the hospital, the 7-year-old girl told officers that she wasn’t feeling well that day and had ‘owies.’ The girl said she went into her dad’s bedroom to tell him and he got mad. Upon their way to the home, another caller reported that a 7-year-old girl had been shot in the hand and the suspect, the victim’s father, did it on objective.

Both the 16-year-old and to discover the 7-year-old said Tinsley seemed to be “smoking something” preceeding the accident. He was convicted of felony child abuse in August 2007 in Jackson County.

Prosecutors have asked that bond be set at $150,000 cash.

Someone reported hearing gunshots just before 9:30 p.m. at Ninth and Olive streets. Police say officers responding to a report of the shooting found two black males with gunshot wounds. The victims were declared dead at the scene
